Mines receives $233K NSF grant to research plasma dynamics
GOLDEN, CO, June 8, 2016 —Applied Mathematics and Statistics Assistant Professor Stephen Pankavich has received a three-year research grant from the National Science Foundation
for $233,775 to develop new analytical and computational methods of solving mathematical problems in the kinetic theory of plasma dynamics.
Excellence in Computational Hydraulics/Hydrology Award. Jefferson was recently part of the Hydrologic Sciences and Engineering program and graduated in May with her PhD in hydrology.
