Colorado School of Mines Office of Special Programs and Continuing Education announces 2014 short courses
GOLDEN, Colo., Jan. 9, 2014 – The Office of Special Programs and Continuing Education (SPACE) at Colorado School of Mines will launch its 2014 series of short courses this month.
Starting Jan. 28, SPACE colleagues Paterson & Cooke will present their course on “Filtered, Paste and Thickened Tailings.” This course will be offered on the Mines campus in Golden, Colo. Mines will award 2.3 continuing education units (CEU’s) upon successful completion of this course.
The course is the first of nearly 20 short courses to be offered through SPACE this year. Other topics offered for CEU’s include economic evaluation, underground construction, grouting, natural gas processing, crude oil pricing and microtunneling.
SPACE and Mines will also host the 34th Oil Shale Symposium in October.
