GOLDEN, Colo., March 5, 2013 – The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education (SIGCSE) 2013 conference will be held in Denver March 6-9.
The co-chair of the event, Tracy Camp, Colorado School of Mines professor of computer science, said the event is a top education conference to attend for practitioners of computer science.
“About 1,200 people attend each year from around the world to address problems common among educators working to develop, implement and/or evaluate computing programs, curricula, and courses,” said Camp. “The theme of this year's SIGCSE conference focuses our attention on how computing is changing, and how we must change in education to address the changes in computing.”
Mines student volunteers and researchers are also participating in the event, which will be held at the Sheraton Downtown Denver, March 6-9.
