Mines launches 5 new degree programs with 2018-19 term

Colorado School of Mines welcomed back students for the first day of classes today and officially launched five new degree programs.

The Class of 2022 beginning their undergraduate studies today is the largest freshman class in Mines history. The school received 13,281 applications for the 2018-2019 academic year and welcomed about 1,380 freshmen and transfer students to campus last week for Fall Kickoff. Official enrollment numbers will be available Sept. 5.
