Mines appears prominently on Washington Monthly’s latest ranking of top universities

Washington, D.C.-based magazine ranks colleges based on what they “do for the country”

Colorado School of Mines appears at No. 78 out of 1,469 U.S. colleges and universities in the latest Washington Monthly 2020 College Rankings

The Washington, D.C.-based magazine has since 2005 ranked colleges and universities on “what they do for the country” based on the social mobility of their students, research output and focus on public service. 

The Monthly’s latest rankings appear in its September/October issue. Mines appears just after the University of Texas at Austin, and just ahead of Carnegie Mellon University, on the ranking of national universities.
