Nanette Boyle will join the research group of Harro Bouwmeester, chair of plant hormone biology at the Swammerdam Institute of Life Sciences, and teach a course on systems biology during the Spring 2022 semester.

The Office of Academic Affairs at Colorado School of Mines is proud to announce the winners of the 2020-2021 Faculty Awards for teaching and research excellence.

Williams will receive $549,999 over five years for his project, “Cognitively-Informed Memory Models for Language-Capable Robots,” which will apply lessons from cognitive psychology in hopes of developing working memory processes in robots.

Acting as “artificial atoms,” quantum dots are used in widely ranging contexts, from tests of molecule formation to quantum computing.
