Colorado School of Mines celebrated its Spring 2024 Undergraduate Commencement on May 10, conferring a total of 962 bachelor’s degrees during three ceremonies at Lockridge Arena.
Colorado School of Mines awarded 50 doctorates and 311 master’s degrees May 9. Spring Commencement continues May 10 with three undergraduate ceremonies at 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. in Lockridge Arena.
Students Robert Delmark and Natalia McEvoy were recognized for their dedication to the Betsy’s Friends Peer Education Program, which was established in 2021 by Mines alum Steve ‘63 and Carolyn McCandless.
The Colorado School of Mines Board of Trustees has awarded promotions to 18 Mines faculty members for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Graduate Commencement will be held May 9, followed by three Undergraduate Commencement ceremonies on May 10.
A Mines alum, Miskimins has 30 years of experience in the petroleum industry and has led Mines' Petroleum Engineering Department since 2020.
A total of 95 percent of recent Mines alums had positive outcomes after graduation, the newest report shows, up from an already high positive outcome rate of 93 percent in 2021-2022.
Set for April 11-13, E-Days is one of the most anticipated student events of the academic year. This year is no different as Mines celebrates its 150th anniversary.
