RA receives National Association of College, University Residence Halls award

GOLDEN, Colo., Oct. 30, 2014 – Engineering physics student Shannon Craig has been recognized as Resident Assistant (RA) of the month for September by the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH).

Shannon Craig, RA recipient of the NACURH award for the month of September.

Kelsie Merchant, Mines President of the Residence Hall Association (RHA), nominated Craig for her unique bulletin boards and participation in RHA’s program, Walk to Aware.

“Shannon has given so much to her community. Any University RA, member of the RHA or professional staff can submit nominations. Mines regional organization, Intermountain Association of College and University Residence Halls, which is overseen by the NACURH, selects the award recipients each month.
