Mines invites community to pancake breakfast, trick-or-treating events during Halloween week

GOLDEN, Colo., Oct. 15, 2014 – The Mines Up ’til Dawn student group and Sodexo will host an inaugural Pancake Breakfast to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on Oct. 26 from 9-11 am in the Slate Café. Entrance will cost $10 and will include all you can eat pancakes, sausage, juice and milk. Proceeds will support St. Jude.

On Oct. 30, the community is invited to Trick or Treat on Greek Street (formerly Nightmare on Greek Street) for a safe night of trick-or-treating at the fraternity and sorority houses on campus from 5:30-7:30 pm. Other student organizations will be participating and hosting activity booths for the community as well.

Up ‘til Dawn is a student organization that raises money and awareness for  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. And families never receive a bill from St. Jude because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
