Experience Mines during Parents, Family Weekend Oct. 24-26

GOLDEN, CO, Oct. 1, 2014—It’s October and the leaves are changing just in time to celebrate Parents and Family Weekend Oct. 24-26. Mines will be welcoming back students’ families as they come together to participate in the weekend activities. 

Some of the highlights of the weekend include the Art on the Brix painting event, Breakfast and Classroom experience, Oredigger Classic Triathlon and Mines Little Theatre performances. Women’s volleyball, football, men’s and women’s soccer games will also be taking place. All athletic events are free to students.

See a full schedule of events. Register for events online until Oct. 10, or you can sign up Oct. 24 at 5 p.m. in the Student Center Atrium.

Parking
Parking on campus is free starting at 5 pm on Oct. 24 and ends Oct. 26.

Football Game Transportation
The Mines football game vs. CSU-Pueblo (Oct. 25, kickoff at noon) will be located at the North Area Athletic Complex in Arvada. Buses will be leaving campus starting at 10:30 am and will return following the game, or you can drive to the complex, which is located at 19500 W 64th Pkwy, Arvada, CO 80403.
