Mines graduate school ranks in U.S. News and World Report's annual list

GOLDEN, Colo., March 14, 2012 – Colorado School of Mines ranks 63rd in U.S. News and World Report’s 2013 ranking of engineering graduate schools.
 
Several of Mines graduate engineering programs also were ranked including chemical engineering at 51st, environmental engineering at 35th and materials engineering at 35th.
 
U.S. News rankings are based on expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators measuring the quality of a school's faculty, research and students. Data is collected from administrators at more than 1,200 programs.
