GOLDEN, Colo., April 12, 2016 –The Colorado School of Mines Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Student Chapter is hosting its Clay Shoot Fundraiser on April 22 at Kiowa Creek Sporting Club (46700 E County Rd 30, Bennett, CO). The event kicks off at 11 am and includes lunch and one round of clays. Ammo and guns are not provided, but may be bought or rented from Kiowa Creek.

This year marked the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Army ROTC programs in the nation. Colorado School of Mines was designated the ROTC Company for the Battalion (13 Metro Area Schools) to host the celebration, which occurred in conjunction with E-Days festivities on April 1.

GOLDEN, Colo., March 25, 2016 – Colorado School of Mines won first place in the University of Denver’s Analytics Challenge earlier this month. Sponsored by Daniels College of Business, the competition centered on finding insights from two large data sets about Denver crime over the previous five years.
