GOLDEN, Colo., March 14, 2012 – Colorado School of Mines ranks 63^rd in U.S. News and World Report’s 2013 ranking of engineering graduate schools.

 

Several of Mines graduate engineering programs also were ranked including chemical engineering at 51st, environmental engineering at 35^th and materials engineering at 35^th.

 

U.S. News rankings are based on expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators measuring the quality of a school's faculty, research and students. Data is collected from administrators at more than 1,200 programs.
