Paul Morgan discusses NASA Mars InSight landing with Fox31 Denver

Paul Morgan, senior geothermal geologist at the Colorado Geological Survey, was interviewed by Fox31 Denver about his involvement in the NASA Mars InSight mission, which landed safely on Mars on Monday, Nov. 26.

Morgan is one of the U.S.-based co-investigators on the lander's Heat Flow and Physical Properties Probe (HP3) and worked very closely on the probe's design with engineers at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Ebru Bozdag, assistant professor of geophysics at Mines, is also contributing to the mission, working with the seismometer team to do 3D seismic wave simulations of Mars.
