Colorado School of Mines electrical engineering student Alyssa Boll was recently featured in an article in the Boulder Daily Camera about the research that local scientists are planning to do during the total solar eclipse Aug. 21. Boll, an intern at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, will be observing the eclipse from the ground near Casper Mountain in Wyoming as part of a team of NCAR researchers studying the infrared radiation coming from the sun's corona.
