In a 2016 ranking of best U.S. colleges by state, MONEY Magazine by Time Inc. ranked Colorado School of Mines as the best college in Colorado. According to the website, MONEY's methodology is to determine the colleges that "deliver the most value -- that is, a great education, at an affordable price, that helps students launch promising careers."
