The Colorado School of Mines Energy, Mining and Construction Industry Safety (EMCIS) Program was involved in the rescue of a hiker yesterday afternoon, who suddenly became trapped by a 1500 lb boulder on North Table Mountain. According to CBS, the woman is in critical condition but said to be stable. Nine other agencies were involved in the rescue - West Metro, Golden Fire, Golden Police, Fairmount Fire, Genesee Fire, Golden Gate Fire, Jefferson County Open Space, AMR and Flight for Life.
