Tracy Camp, professor and head of the Computer Science Department at Colorado School of Mines, and master's student Sarah Person recently discussed with 9News a free computer science workshop that Mines will be offering this spring and summer to elementary school teachers across the state of Colorado. Up to 1,500 elementary school teachers across Colorado could receive training this year to teach computational thinking in their classrooms, thanks to the new partnership between Mines and the Colorado Department of Education.
